Professional Experience

Azlina Nadzri is currently the proprietor of Azlina Law Chambers. She was previously a partner at Nadzri Ismail & Co., practising as an Advocate and Solicitor. She handles a wide range of matters in litigation, conveyancing, and corporate advisory. Azlina has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, contract law, tort, banking, and industrial relations, as well as conveyancing work involving sale and purchase agreements, loan agreements, and wills.

Parallel to her legal practice, Azlina has served in academia for more than a decade. She was a Senior Lecturer at Southern University College (2021–2025) and previously lectured at DRB-Hicom University of Automotive Malaysia (2013–2021), where she also acted as Programme Coordinator, Short Course Coordinator and Legal Adviser to the university. She played a key role in developing and reviewing various academic programmes and courses under MQA requirements, particularly in areas of Intellectual Property, Business Law, Company Law, Industrial Relations, and Islamic Finance.

Her teaching portfolio includes subjects such as Business Law, Company Law, Cyber Law, Administrative Law, Legal & Ethical Issues, and specialised legal courses tailored for business, automotive and IT programmes. She has also held part-time teaching and tutoring roles at UKM, UiTM Melaka, Olympia College and Kolej Professional MARA.

Azlina is also a Certified HRDF Trainer, actively conducting legal and entrepreneurship training, and has been engaged as a consultant for organisations including Messrs Hazza Suraya (Johor Bahru) and HR-related executive programmes.

Research, Conferences & Publications

Azlina has contributed significantly to legal research, particularly in Business Law, Company Law and Alternative Medicine Law. Her works include:

She has also presented and participated in numerous conferences, training workshops and seminars, including the Tuanku Ja’afar Conference & Workshop, OBE Training, Islamic Estate Planning, Pedagogy Training, Train the Trainer (PSMB), INSKEN Graduate Entrepreneur Programme and workshops on research, publication and grant writing.

Community Service & Engagement

Beyond academia and legal practice, Azlina has been actively involved in community engagement. She has advised and participated in entrepreneurship training and projects, acted as judge in business and entrepreneurship showcases, and served on committees for innovation and business exhibitions (IBEX) as well as university carnivals and collaborative programmes with Proton and DRB-Hicom.
